I have no idea how I’m expected to keep it a secret for ONE SECOND LONGER that I am pregnant. Seriously. My god, I’m not a machine, people! I can’t possibly wait for weeks on end in order to hit some “it’s okay to tell” milestone because I have to tell you right this goddamned minute or I am going to EXPLODE.
There. Whew. That’s better.
You know what’s kind of funny, in a ‘boy, I sure am a dumbass’ kind of way? I was actually pregnant when I wrote this entry. I mean, barely pregnant, but still. Next up: hubris-filled entries about having—just now!—officially dropped the extra pounds, complete with photos to document my shrinkage! Ha ha haaaaa! Hot damn, my comedic timing knows no limits.
At least one internet calculator thingie predicts a Valentine’s Day due date, so that’s the general timeframe. I’m about seven weeks along. Morning sickness is a much bigger issue this time around, for some mysterious and sucktastic reason. My pants already feel too clingy in the waistline. Yesterday I crumbled graham crackers into a glass of milk and drank the resulting sludge, and it was SO. DAMN. GOOD.
(Yes, I realize the last two items may have something to do with one another.)
Anyway, that’s my news. I have been ridiculously excited to tell you.

Fist-pump number two! Whoooo! (Except I am alone this time. It loses some of its allure that way, don’t you think?)
*screams again with excitement* I’m so happy for you!
Hooray! Congrats. :)
Yay!! Congratulations!
Congrats!
woohoo!

YAY!!!! I love reading about your pregnant woes…if only so I’m not suprised when I (hopefully) go through it all myself one of these days. Bring on the 2nd cutest baby ever!
Best news I’ve heard all week! Congratulations!
Yippee Yahoo! Congrats and hang in there. Morning sickness should not last too long. Yeah right!
WHOO HOOO! So very excited for you! YAY!
Aaaaaah! How exciting!! Feel so priveleged that you shared it with us! I know, the whole waiting for 12 weeks thing is ridiculously hard, and silly too I guess. I have to tell you - having 2 is NOT as hard as you think it is going to be, I promise! I am 4 months into it and it really is awesome.
CONGRATS!!!!!!!
awww! yah!
Excellent news. I wish you good health and graham crackers.
WOOHOO! Congratulations!!!
Woohoo! Congratulations!
And at least you have your hubris-filled weight loss entries and photos as a reminder that you can, in fact, do it when it comes time to lose the weight from baby #2.
Congratulations!!! and !
Congratulations! And if you’re sicker this time than last, maybe it’s a girl. I was the opposite, ridiculously sick with my boys, and had an easier time with the girl. I suspected from the start that she was a girl, just because it was so different. I’m so happy for you all!
Yay!!!! Congrats!!!!
Rock ON witchabadself!
Oh my goodness… congratulations! I have to admit that I was a little suspicious when you talked about that pastry you ate in San Francisco. That’s pregnancy food if I’ve ever heard it!
Hope your morning sickness goes away soon.
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYYYYYY!!!! I’m so excited! In my post-birth daze, with the thrill of anticipation more than 3 weeks behind me now, I am so so glad to get to look forward to a Sundry Baby!
And I am ridiculously excited FOR you!
If it’s a girl, I say name her Alex. Just throwin’ it out there.
Also: YAY YAY YAY!
Yay! Congrats! I am due Jan 9th with #2 and this time I don’t have morning sickness as bad as last time. But I still have it. It sucks ass! :)
Congrats again!
Delurking to congratulate you and J.B. and Riley on his new brother/sister! Which would you like to have? I had my oldest boy in November and 17 months later…I had another boy. I thougth I would want a girl, and I did for awhile, but kept thinking of all those cute little boy clothes I still had…and now I KNOW I was always meant to be a Boy Mama…I never have learned to do my OWN hair, much less a little girl…
Woot! Woot!
oh congratulations! fabulous news!
YAY!!! Congrats!! Start teaching this one war face while still in utero, and I think you’ll have a winner.
Congrats!!! Hope everything goes well. Really good spacing between the two.
OH YAY!! Congrats!
Yeah! Congratulations. That is just excellent news.
Woohoo! I hope I get as lucky as you did SOON! ;)
ROCK ON! Oh, that’s fantastic news! Congratulations!!
Long time lurker, first time poster - and what a time to post!
It’s been a delight to read about Suctopus the First - I can’t wait to hear about the Secondpus.
What’s better than one War Face?!?!?
So happy for you! :)
CONGRATULATIONS!
Hooray!!!!!! Thanks for sharing. We’re all ridiculously excited to know.
Fantastic news! Hope the nausea subsides soon.
Hooray!
As soon as I saw this post title in my google reader notifier thing, I just knew! But, then the page took forever to load (dang Comcast and their wavering speed) and I was waiting in suspense for at least five seconds. Whew!
Congratulations!!!
Now Riley will have someone to look suspiciously back at him!!
Congratulations.
I am speechless I am so excited! Congratulations!!
Woo hoo - congratulations!! Mr. War Face has no idea what he’s in for!!!
Congrats!
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations! Two is wild!
Congrats! Your due date is one day after mine, so I’ll be looking forward to reading your posts as an exercise in virtual commiseration!
As for the morning sickness, the only thing that seems to help keep it at bay is to keep eating. (Which is probably why I can only fit comfortably into yoga pants and sweat shorts at the moment.)
Oh, CONGRATS!!!!! Here’s to a healthy, happy pregnancy - and a healthy, happy new sibling for dear Riley!!!
eileen
Yay!yay!yay!
Congrats! Look forward to seeing the next suspicious member of the Sundry family.
Hooray!!! And re: your in-shapeness, I’ve read that the better shape you’re in, the faster you recover from childbirth. So double hooray! :D
Huzzah!!
maybe you’re having more morning sickness because this time it’s a girl? that’s what happened to my mom, anyway…
I echo it all. Congrats!!
Eleventy-million-zillion-trillion congratulations to you and yours!!!!!
YAY!!!
Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Holy crap! CONGRATULATIONS! OMG, why am I so excited? I DON’T EVEN KNOW YOU! Well, sorta. Ugh, creepy. Anyway! Horray!
Congratulations!!
Congrats!!!!
Woohoo! Congratulations Linda! Old wives tales would say you are sicker because it’s a girl. More estrogen, more morning sickness.
yay! congrats!
i used to eat graham crackers and milk as a form of cereal. hahaha.
Congratulations!! You have a lot to be happy about these days!
Yay! Congrats to you and JB!
Glad you didn’t wait one more second to tell us! I’m very excited for you, CONGRATS! I hope it’s a great 9 months for you.
Riley as a big brother! Awesome.
Woohoo! Congratulations to you and JB, and to Riley on his impending Big Brotherness!
That is fantastic news! I am so excited for you!!
Yay!! I’m sooooooo happy for you! Be insanely happy you got into shape *before*, because trust me (says she who is 38 weeks and counting), those pounds you won’t have to lose afterwards or carry around during? Freaking priceless.
aaaaaaaaahh! i’m SO happy and excited for you, linda. i actually have a big ol’ cheesy tear in my eye. congratulations!
Yay! BIG congratulations to you and JB, and Riley too of course. I’m totally excited for you guys!
HOORAY!!!! That is awesome news!!!!! I only have seven weeks to go before #2 and let me tell you, it will FLY by!!! Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it!!!!!
And definitely keep up with the workouts for as long as you can —with modifications of course. It will make you feel better and make everything easier, including losing the baby weight.
Just my two cents. Again, CONGRATS!!!!!
I had terrible morning sickness, and then discovered I was carrying…twins! hmmmmmmmm Congratulations to all of you..
I’m damn happy for you. Zofram (?) is something you might ask your doc about if the morning sickness gets too bad…but WOOT for you! May I be the 73rd person to say congrats? !!!
Alrighty then! Proud to have read your words for so long, and glad to hear this good news. Nice, Linda.
HOORAY! Congratulations!
YAY! Congratulations!
Congratulations! No, CONGRATULATIONSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
Woo yay!
Huzzah! Such great news! I’m so happy for you, JB, and Riley.
ooooohhhhhsoooohappyforyou!!!! biggest internet style hugs! lots of those big foil balloons covered in duckies and pacifiers and a whole collection of big fluffy teddy bears with congratulations embroidered onto them for all of you! (and yessss…just when I was getting really jealous of your flat tummy! heh! )
AWESOME!
I am so happy for you and your happy family.
We had our second baby boy (Trevor!) last week and it’s wonderful all over again. Crazy, sleepy wonderful. :)
I can’t wait to read about your second pregnancy. I enjoyed every bit of mine and already miss it.
I’m SO EXCITED for you!!! …….a total stranger. I think even more excited about your baby than I was for my cousins baby. Congratulations to your expanding family!!! Can’t wait to read more.
Congratulations! So exciting.
Much happiness to you & the growing family… YAY!
wonderful news. congrats!
Oh Congratulations! I’m so happy for you!
I simply cannot wait to read all the funny things I”m sure you will say about being pregnant while looking after a toddler, and also what you will have to say when you have two little ones at home.
Having two kids is so great. My 5 year old and 18 month old are just now starting to really enjoy playing together and it is the best thing ever. Wait until you hear Riley laugh with his little sibling for the first time. It will make all the hard work worth it.
Yay! Best wishes for a happy healthy pregnancy!
Congrats!
Yay! Awesome and all that good stuff.
Congrats! I heard on Oprah & Friends that lemons help morning sickness. It was from this cleverly titled book “Dr. Robert Greene’s Perfect Hormone Balance for Pregnancy: A Groundbreaking Plan for Having a Healthy Baby and Feeling Great”. Snappy title, eh? Anyway - congratulation - what wonderful news!
Congrats! Babies are lovely. Same thing happened to me with weight loss. When Baby #1 was about 18 months old, I lost a ton of weight, got in great shape and only got to enjoy it for .0007 seconds before I got pregnant with Baby #2. (I guess I looked really good..wink wink) Does Rielly know he is going to be a big brother? I’ll bet he looked suspicious when you told him :)
Sorry, I meant Riley. Can’t spell today!!
OMG! You’re not going to believe this, but I’m due on Valentine’s Day, too! I had been hoping one of the blogger’s I read regularly would get pregnant so I could follow them along during my own pregnancy. I hope I don’t sound like some stalker, crazy lady. Anyway, congratulations!
Yay! That’s awesome news, thanks for sharing :D
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh goody!!! We will get to read more Jimmy Leg entries! Hooray! Those were my favorite of all time!
Congratulations! That is so exciting!
Yay! Congratulations!
Congratulations! I happy for you (and even a bit envious, though we don’t have plans for another). I had morning sickness so much worse with my second. If it gets too bad, don’t hesitate to talk to your doctor. Toughing it out gets you nowhere. I’m excited to get to share your experiences again.
This is fabulous news! Congratulations!
Wewt!
CONGRATULATIONS LINDA, JB and RILEY!
I hope you have a wonderful, happy and healthy pregnancy :-)
All the best.
I’ll add another to the list: Congratulations!!
Oh my gosh! Congrats!
Congratulations!!
A hearty Mazel Tov to you!!!!!! Very exciting stuff! I am curious to know (when you decide) if you’ll go VBAC or a scheduled C-section. Best wishes!
[…] Edited to add: And oh yeah, this. Because naturally everyone’s pregnant but me. No seriously, Congrats, Linda! Posted by Madame Pocklock | […]
hella!!!
Lucky you! Congrats! WAHHOOO!
Great news! I’m so happy for you!
Mazel tov!
OH YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually squealed when I read your post! I’m so excited for you and your family!
My morning sickness was not bad with either of my pregnancies, but was a little worse with the second (a girl). I will say this though, the second pregnancy totally flew by. When I was pregnant with Payton, I had plenty of time to obsess about the New Baby. But when I was pregnant with Tori, Payton took up all of my obsession time. Also, be very glad that you don’t have to suffer pregnancy through the summer again! Congratulations!!!
I can’t tell you how thrilled I am for you. Best, best, BEST of luck with everything. We just had our second baby in two years…it’s awsome.
Congratulations!
Phew just scrolled all the long way down to say - Congrats!
OMG congratulations!!!!
Ah, but now you have a super smokin hot bod, it’ll be easier to keep it that way, and easier to get back to it, now that you know what to do!
You can still work out/jog when preggo.
Seriously, my jaw just hit the desk reading that. Didn’t take you long at all, did it, oh fertile one?
Congratulations - although holey smokes, a toddler, a pregnancy and home renovation? Your plate, it is FULL.
As a Valentine’s season baby myself, I will tell you your future will be filled with tobogganing parties. Also your child will never get birthday flowers ’cause they cost a kajillion dollars. Other than those things, it’s all good.
AWW, YEAH!!!! Happy congrats to you and JB!
HOLLA! Congrats to all! Can’t wait for the next several months of hi-larious entries!
WHOO! Yay, good for you and JB! I know this is ridiculous but after reading your blog almost every day for so long, I feel a vague sort of attachment (in a non-stalker way) to you and Riley and JB, and I am SO excited to see more pregnant pics and ESPECIALLY pictures when your next baby arrives! This is awesome.
CONGRATS!!!!!! Very cool.
Wow, you kept it a secret longer than I ever have. =) With my first pregnancy, my husband was all shocked and weirded out (we WERE trying, but he thought he’d have months of wild abandon, and instead he got one good lay and then “keep your hands away from my god damn boobs or I WILL kill you”), but anyway, he made me promise not to tell ANYONE for awhile. I made it ONE day at work, and I was literally sick from not being able to tell. The next day, I spilled the beans to two of my women coworkers, then felt immediate, nearly orgasmic, relief. I called David GIDDY with relief and didn’t care that he was frustrated with me for spilling the beans.
CONGRATULATIONS! Such happy news.
Congratulations! That is so exciting.
And I’m not a mother myself, so I can’t speak from the parenting angle, but from the kid angle–my sister and I are exactly two and a half years apart (as I think Riley and the baby will be, if I’m doing my math right), and it is the perfect distance. Far enough apart to really feel like you have your own identity, but close enough to relate and bond. So I hope it works out well for your kids too!
so happy for you! Good stuff!!
How exciting!!! CONGRATS! I’m pregnant too so I will look even more forward to your new posts taking us through your baby #2 journey!
Maybe you’re more sick this time around because it’s a girl…. ;)
I am way to excited for someone who is ultimately a stranger yet I feel like I know. Congratulations! You are such a great mother and am sure number two will be as great and precious as one. Way to go to Dad too.
I feel ridiculously excited FOR you! What great news! Congratulations to the whole family… and I can’t wait to find out if Riley is “suspicious” of the new little one, or if Big Brother love takes over immediately! hee!
HOORAY! I actually jumped up out of my chair when I read this! Congrats to you and the fam!
I’m so happy for you! Congratulations! If you can handle 1, you can handle 2; it’s just more of the same.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE! Delicious baby thighs for all!
Most stupendiferous congratulatorations are in order.
Congratulations :)
When I saw the title of this entry, I gasped out loud with excitement. My husband said, “What?” And I realized how dopey I sounded AS I was saying, “This lady I kind of know is pregnant.” He did not share my same feelings. But that does not deter me one bit - I am very excited for you!! Congratulations!
Yay for you (two)!!!! I am thrilled for you. Hope the morning sickness doesn’t last too long. Congrats!
happy dance! :) YAY!
Yeah! Congratulations!
I miss being able to eat anything and everything and not having to feel bad about it. Graham crackers in milk, yum!
YAY!!!
congratulations!!! i’m so freakin’ excited for you guys! good luck with everything and just know that i (along with everyone else, i’m sure!) am on the edge of my seat waiting to hear every piddly detail. your entries (including the pictures!) are seriously such a highlight. i can hardly wait to see another beautiful jb and linda baby!!
WOW- congratulations! I’m sure this new one will be as cute and incredible as Riley!
YIPPEE!!!! Congrats to the Sundry fam! (ps… for morning sickness, take half a Unisom tablet and a 100mg B6. You’ll be asleep, but you’ll feel better!)
Great news. Congrats.
I’m soooooo happy for you!
Congratulations! Here’s to a healthy pregnancy!!!
SSSSOOOOOOO happy for you. Congratulations!
Yay! Congrats to the 3 of you.

Oh, YAY for you!!!!
All the very best!!!!
Heather (the Heather who sent you the Zombie plate pics - thanks for your reply, it was lovely to hear back from you :))
Eeeeeeeeee congratulations!!!
PS oo, yay, Riley will be a big brother!
Yay for you guys! Congrats! I will look forward to reading all about raising a toddler and a newborn since I’m thinking about making that crazy leap myself soon, too. Please do share all. Like I even need to say that.
So cool! Congratulations! I hope the baby gets here on my birthday (Feb 17th!!!) :-)
YAY!! Congratulations!!!
Yay for you!!! (((hugs))) And on the positive side for me, I’m hoping for more fodder for my antenatal classes. BTW is it too early to start running a book on sex and weight?
That is fabulous!
yah!
I know you’re probably not even reading these any more, but just HAD to de-lurk to say CONGRATS!!! I have been rooting for you for weeks to get knocked up because I so loved reading your pregnancy entries with Riley.
I thought it would be awesome if we were kind of at the same stage (does that sound stalker-ish, sorry) but alas! I am due in December so not TOO far behind. Can’t wait to read all about this one too. Hope your m/s eases soon.
OH WOW! Congratulations! I already get so excited whenever you post a new entry, and I can’t wait to see what happens these next few months!
so cool……
Awwww….Yay! Congrats to you both! I love your blog, and love staying current on your lives via cyberspace. Looking forward to seeing you and the fam over the 4th! Congrats again.
Yay!!!! Congratulations— I’m so happy for you guys!!!
I just felt like shouting WHOOPEE! when I saw the title of this entry. I’m just another stalkerish-type person wondering why I was so thrilled to read your news. I guess it’s the quality of your writing makes us want to share in your good news this way. CONGRATULATIONS!!
Oh my God, CONGRATULATIONS! *Happy Dance*
Yay for you guys! Congratulation!
I’m sure Cat will be DELIGHTED.
FANTASTIC…YAY….so how many weeks? (this enquirind mind wants to know)

CONGRATS LINDA & JB!!
Ohmigod, I started squeeing here at work- that’s so fabulous. :) I’m ridiculously excited to hear your ridiculously exciting news!
My husband is very excited, too. :) He wants to read your entries this time around.
That’s so wonderful. Congratulations, love.
Oh and also…. BELLY PICS! Starting now please. :) Show off that flat hot-mama belly!
Congrats!!
Sweet! When I found your site I had just gotten pregnant and I loved reading your archives of when you were pregnant with Riley. Uh-oh, I guess that means I have high hopes for this blog in the next 9 months! Heh heh, just kidding. Congrats!
That’s so awesome! Congratulations! You and JB make cute kids together.
CONGRATULATIONS!
I am so happy for you and JB and Riley!
Congratulations!
AHHH! Linda!!! So excited for you, JB & Riley!!! You guys are going to be great parents to two.
On a totally selfish level - I can’t wait to experience all this right along with you! I just found out that my husband and I are expecting #1, due at the end of February. SO CAN’T WAIT!! I will see delicious new baby photos from you just as I’m waiting to (gulp) deliver.
Much love!!
Way to go on getting knocked up! I’m snuggling into my chair and just anticipating future entries :) Woo hoo! Congrats!
Yay! Congratulations. I can’t wait to hear all the stories.
Congratulations!
I am also pregnant, due in November, and I was diagnosed with hyperemesis, emesis means vomit, you do the linguistics on that one.
So everytime anyone would congratulate me I would snap back ‘congratulations on what, vomiting six times an hour? thanx!’
Hope your nausea goes away really really quickly.
Congratulations! I’m so happy for you! The second time around was easier in every way, for me.
Congratulations!
I’m delurking to say congratulations! Hopefully you don’t get tired of hearing how inspiring you are- your super-smokin’ weight loss photos have motivated me to improve my eating habits and get off my butt. Best wishes for an easy pregnancy!
Whooo HOOOOOOOO!!!! Congrats! I am so happy for you and JB!
Sending you healthy thoughs and happy pregancy vibes all around…
Congratualions! Yahoooo!
i am so excited to hear of the secondtopus! it was great watching the first go round and i’m certain this time around will be too! :)
Congratulations! I was thinking of posting a “why not pregnant yet?” post on my own site today, and now maybe I should, since the universe likes to award me with that kind of comedic timing as well.
Anyway, that is such great news and I am very excited for you! Can’t wait to hear how telling Riley the news goes.
That’s great news! Well done team. I suspect this is why Riley is perfecting War Face - he’s preparing for the arrival of the competition…
Holy crap along with the other 359839028056 posts - Congrats!
Congratulations! Wooooooooooooooo!
Ohhh! I am so happy for you all!! Best wishes! (Oh and I am on my second and everything just pops and feels tighter sooner. That is my reasoning and I am sticking to it!).
YAY!!!!
I got a big smile on my face when I read this title. I found you fairly recently & love reading your entries about Riley. I can relate to so many of them since my late February born daughter seems so similar to him.
A big congrats to you, JB & Riley.
so happy for you guys! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations!! A second suctopus!! Best wishes!
BIG congrats!!
such fantastic news!! Congratulations! Another little bundle of joy for Riley to teach the art of suspiciousness to!
Congrats! Welcome to the club… my waistline expanded MUCH faster this time. I was worried about twins, but there’s just one in there. Guess it’s just that everything’s already stretched out and knows what to do this time around.
So… hoping for a boy or girl? What does JB want?
EXCELLENT news! I’m so happy for you and JB! Please do the tummy pics again — that will give you another comparison of your buff boss new bod! I’m sure someone has said it, but I’m too lazy to scroll — I have heard that mornging sickness is an indication of a healthy baby! I hope it passes soon, but if that’s any consolation… (Can I hope it’s a girl? Because then that would just be too perfect — Big Brother Riley and little sister… Rilette?) Please try to avoid fruit names, as tempting as Pomegranate may be…. (just sayin’) BOOYA!
Congrats! That’s so exciting! I hope the nausea goes away soon!
I was so moved to tears the last time you had a Great Expectation and I have obsessively checked your “preggo” tab just to marvel at the miracle o’ life since Sucktopus I was born. This time, I’m truckin’ right along with you on the pregbus, and somehow your confessions on cravings lend so much solidarity to this here human growth experiment we’re both undergoing. Congrats to you and JB, and also to Big Brother Riley.
Muchos congrats! Your Lululemon pants will come in handy down the road!
Congrats!!! Riley’s gonna be a big brother!!!
Yippee! I remember when you wrote that having Riley made you so happy, you felt your heart would burst into a million pink balloons … so wonderful. Perhaps those balloons might really be PINK this time!
Congratulations!!!! My daughter was born on Feb 13th last year. The best part is that your most heavy times are in the dead of winter and you can cover yourself!! And you still have time to get back in svelt shape for next summer…like you said…just three months!
Actually the best part is the new little one that will be joining the family…congratulations! I’m sure you guys are thrilled!
hooorayyyyyyyyy!!!! congratulations. i hope the sickness passes soon. it doesn’t seem fair to have to get that.
congratulations! I’m very excited for you.
What wonderful news! Congratulations!
I sure hope this one doesn’t look quite so perplexed:)
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOT! congratulations, sweety! i can’t wait to see the NEW suctopus…. Suctopus part deux??
*big hugs!*
Wonderful news! Riley will be extra suspicious of all the changes to come.
Congratulations! That’s terrific. I’m expecting my first in a couple of weeks, give or take, and I have to say, right now, I’m planning on never being pregnant again. But I want two! So you can be my inspiration!
Yay!! Congratulations! I am so happy for all of you :)
As soon as I saw the title of this post I knew it! I am so excitted for you guys.
As for the morning sickness try sea bands http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=152291&catid=71583&trx=PLST-0-SEARCH&trxp1=71583&trxp2=152291&trxp3=1&trxp4=0&btrx=BUY-PLST-0-SEARCH

And please do post your belly photos again - that was one of the coolest things you did with your first pregnancy. Congrats to you, JB, and Riley :)
YEAH!!!!
hurray!!!!!
Frabjous! Callooh Callay!
Wow, looks like I came late to the party! Congratulations. Can’t wait to hear all about the new little one. And I really can’t wait to see the faces Riley will make at a baby.
Big congratulations to you, JB and Riley! This is such wonderful news and I’m so glad to be reading it. I hope your pregnancy is uneventful and everyone’s super-healthy at the end of it.

If it’s a girl will you name it Gentry? Or even if it’s a boy….
Congratulations!
Let me be the 249th to say CONGRATULATIONS! and do little imaginary squeals and jumps and stuff. Gotta keep the composure at work ya know.
Good Work JB! and Riley, you’re gonna’ be a very good big brother. A suspicious one, but a good one. YAY SUNDRY FAMILY!

I had to stop lurking under this rock over here to say CONGRATS!!
That’s wonderful news! Congratulations!!!
Yay! I might possibly have done a little happy jig in my office just now. Luckily, I feel fairly certain that no one saw me.
YAY! Sucktopus 2 is on its way!

Count me in!!!! THRILLED! I even got a little tear-y and goose-bumpy at your wonderful news! So silly….but so awesome!
Jen
I didn’t read all 265 comments so this has probably been mentioned but morning sickness is typically much worse in girl pregnancies. I have five children and the only one where I didn’t have the morning sickness was my one son :)
Congratulations! I am so happy for you.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
excellent news
well done, you
Looking forward to you blogging alllllll about it.
Yay! Congrats! Yay! So happy for you!
My husband just commented how odd it is, that we are punching the air going yeah ’cause some chick we’ve never met is pregnant! But we did and it rocks. Congratulations you mother of two you!
Congratulations! That’s fantastic! I am so happy for you and JB and Riley. =D
Woot! You have way more discretion than me. I am so happy for you! This explains why Riley’s been working on his war face and you’ve been toughening him up Full Metal Jacket style. I love watching the interaction between my sons, even last night when they were in the tub together doing an excellent imitation of a crocodile and water buffalo locked in a life-or-death struggle. At least they thought it was fun. They are in their teens. (Kidding! toddlers!) Ah, boys!
Right on my preggers friend. That is the shit. Give JB a high five for having ninja sperm that snuck up on you and karate chopped your uterus with no warning. I really did enjoy the irony of that other blog you linked to. Good stuff. And you go ahead and eat your disgusting graham-milk sludge crap, because you are now a glorified apartment in the great miracle of life, and you deserve whatever kind of gross shite you happen to be craving at the time. Way to make a baby! Mad props.
Congrats! And god help you! And I mean that in the nicest way possible. Well, the nicest way that I can after spending a day hearing one kid call another “you little fucker” (Um, note to self: work on potty mouth), and another drop trou and pee on his own toys.
I know I’m about the three millionth comment, but congratulations to you! Having birthed 4 of the little suckers myself, I know how excited you are. There is nothing like a baby and nothing like a child of your own. Also, you can SO love the second just as much as the first (and the 3rd and 4th, for that matter). Sorry, that was just one of my worries the second time around.
I hope the morning sickness subsides.
Oh enjoy every moment of your wonderfully pregnant gestitating capsule and every extra morsel of food that you get to inhale…er…um, I mean, eat for the baby.
Congratulations!
Um, that was supposed to be gestating. I was in no way implying anything about the state of your mammaries. :)
congratulations! so exciting!
Holy crap, does the entire Internet read your blog now? (If not, well, they should!)
Congratulations!

Hooray! Congrats! My son was born on Valentine’s Day last year. Winter is a good time to have a baby, cause you can be all cozy inside while you’re totally sleep deprived.
Congratulations!
And I am ridiculously excited to congratulate you!!!!!!!! What a fab little family you’ll all be!
Wow, a long line of well wishers here.
Congratulations!
Congrats! Wahoo! Just imagine all the crazy things Riley can teach secondtopus! :-)
Why is it that I am so deliriously happy for someone that I have never met? At least I’m not alone in my happiness for strangers.
Anyway…congratulations; Now I totally want to be pregnant again and my baby is just barely 5 months old. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you.

I, too, am late in responding and am also joining the masses of de-lurkers to wish you congratulations!! I started reading your blog when you were expecting Riley, so it’s only fitting to come out of the woodwork now! Oh, I hope everything goes swimmingly for the next 7.5 months or so! :)
Congratulations!
[…] I finished off my day with a good, productive meeting with Boss, and even made it to the gym. After reading Linda’s blog about how she transformed herself in Three Months and then WHAM! Pregnant, I’m getting on board. […]
