[...] Then Saturday morning dawned… it was chilly, but sunny, and it warmed up fast. While the rest of the area spent the day digging their teak outdoor furniture out of storage and relaxing in their backyards, I spent it dragging my friends around downtown. We walked up and down the Market, stopping at Pike Brewing for some refreshment. Russ stocked up on some local brews and we made it to the top of the Space Needle (yes, it’s expensive, but we were there and it was sunny and the odds of those two things happening at once? somewhat slim) before hauling ass out to Woodinville in time to catch the last Red Hook brewery tour of the day. After that, all of us, including Dorrie, were exhausted, so the plans for the evening changed from “dinner at Red Hook” to “take out teriyaki at home followed by hours of Rock Band.” [...]

This is the last week of spring, here in Texas, I think we're scheduled to start summer by the weekend and that will last until Turkey day (too hot to go outside, etc.)

Beautiful picture!

Dylan looks less suspicious - didn't Riley start off that way from the beginning? It'll be more like good cop/bad cop, I think - one all angry and gruff, the other smiley with deadly gas. Or something. I need more coffee.

Great picture! Wasn't yesterday just awesome?!?!

Truthfully, as a fellow large dog owner, the very first thing I thought was, "Damn, that's a lot of area to pick up dog shit. Wonder how long that took before taking the kids out there?" lol
