We’re back home again and holy crap, we sure have a lot of laundry to do. See also: grocery shopping, housecleaning, business-trip-to-Asia-prepping (wah, JB is leaving me for a week! ALONE WITH THE CHILDREN MY GOD), and blog-reading. What have YOU been up to all week? Tell me!
Dylan just gets more and more snorgle-worthy.
Your sons are painfully cute, dude. I get all squee and retarded over the pictures thinking about how S might be with his upcoming-little-brother.
Best of luck with unpacking and such. I hate that part.
My husband traveled a great deal last year and it was never fun being alone, so I can sympathize. I hope the trip goes by quickly for you.
Such copper-red hair on the kidlet!
Holy criminy!
What kind of camera do you have that always catches your kids giving those adorable expressions?
Glad you’re back! Looks like you had so much fun.
We did the usual 4th of July partying. Now we are just vegging out.
That red hair! Where does that red hair come from?
as usual…adorable family. looks like you had a really nice vacation. i have spent most of my time working/avoiding work, pretending to clean my house, running errands for my friends, reading trashy vampire novels, eating obscene amounts of chocolate while complaining about how i never lose weight, and wondering where i’m going to find the money to pay all my bills. so, in other words…was business as usual. hehe.
so cute… how did you get the little one to pose so perfectly *wink*
Snorgle-worthy children indeed! Lovin’ your holiday snaps and the joy on your kids faces. Riley looks like he’s going to explode with happiness on the tractor and Dylan is as cute as a baby seal.
Also thinking/wishing/hoping you might make fitness instruction videos. What you’ve achieved in three months is, what the kids would call, SICK. Please share. What’s your workout schedule? Which activities do you do and for how long? How much TurboJam per week. You’re amazing.
I *live* in Oregon now, having moved here just a month ago after 17 years in Seattle. And let me tell you- LOVE IT!
This week was spent exploring waterfalls and hot springs along the McKenzie River (Hwys. 126 & 242)
Next weekend we’ll be hosting WA pals for that crazy Oregon Country Fair we’re all so very fond of.
I’ve been forgetting what day of the week it is (which is really disturbing)
Y’all look like an ad for something awesome.
This weekend, I escaped Chicago and the holiday crowds and flew to my parents’ house near Orlando. It somehow feels subversive to be so close to all that Disney crap and yet NOT AT ALL interested in visiting it. We spent a stressful morning at the pool today, and now I’m thinking of taking a nap. Mmmm.
We spent most of the week at the Outer Banks. Right now I’m being a lazy shit and Hubby is being a jackass. Nothing new, really.
Adorable kids, hot husband, great vacaation. You are one lucky woman.
Adorable kids, hot husband, great vacation. You are one lucky woman.
We were at a local beach community on the shores of Puget Sound for most of the last 4 days. The neighborhood puts on this fantastic family friendly 4th of July party that lasts a full 4 days. There’s a kiddies parade, a hawaiian style pig roast, croquet, golf and pool tournaments. We had a blast!
The photos from your trip are beautiful, and you look GREAT Linda!
Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous.
I’m not sure your baby could get ANY CUTER. MY GOODNESS IT KILSS ME.
You are looking great!
I just spent the last week in Kiawah, South Carolina and it was GREAT.
Love the pictures. My weekend: Fireworks, Art Show, wedding invitations. Maybe on the wedding invitations. I’ll get there eventually.
Ok, this is OBV a big “no shit” but Dylan’s hair is SO RED. I love it! When I was little, I fell in love with Anne of Green Gables (the show or movie or whatev) and since then have wanted red hair. The end.
Anyway, it looks like you had a great time. We are leaving the end of this week for a big ol roadtrip (550 miles), and as much work as it is to get ready, getting UNpacked is worse! (My secret is doing a bunch of laundry at my mom’s the day before we leave.)
Get used to the “where did he get the red hair” comments .. I get it all the time with my two youngest, I LOVE redheads… Dylan is so cute! They both are.. boys rock!
That is some gorgeous scenery to compliment your children!
We had our son baptized this weekend and has several gatherings at our house to celebrate, it was party central here. No fireworks though.
I love seeing your holiday pics. I’m in Auckland, New Zealand – and the scenery in your holiday pics always amazes me as it is so very different as to what I am used to. Going away and hanging by a lake is so cool! It doesn’t happen over our way! Gorgeous kidlets too. I have two boys (3 and 9 months) so I love seeing your photos. As for my weekend, we were all stuck indoors as the weather here is crap. We are all complaining because it got down to 4 degrees which is cold for us Aucklanders! Soft. Take care xx
Oh my gosh. He keeps getting cuter and cuter! He’s definitely out of that newborn-blob stage!
What I’ve been doing?-Eating, eating, buying loads of fabric, reading 78546 blogs, same old, same old.
Your kids are so damn cute it makes me physically ill.
Theo’s first 4th town parade. Farmer’s market. Cleaning. His first laugh. A good long weekend indeed!
you take a lot of pictures with you Iphone
I took the dogs to the park twice a day and ran/walked since I was inspired by your previous pics. We’re the same height and I can see how I’d look if I lost 20lbs.
We ran into an *enormous* snake on the 4th…which definitely helped me run faster!
The red hair! The dimples! The hands clasped angelically under chin! Surely this can not be the same self-gagging, milk-horking furious raisin (or was it “prune”?)!
As for my week(end), I spent it with my in-laws, my sister-in-law and her husband all crammed in our tiny ONE BATHROOM house. With a toddler who’s suddenly decided that she MUST poop in the potty. But we did eat the most amazing corn on the cob, made waffles and watched my daughter ride a pony “LIKE YANKEE DOOOOOODLE!”.
Your boys are so cute!
I have been completely inspired by you and started a new fitness regimen this week! Which Turbo Jam workouts do you do? I bought the 5 workout DVD. I hope I can look as great as you in 4 months!
Glad to see, in a couple of your Flickr pics, that JB has a “plan” for keeping you and those kids safe!
Oh dear, your boys are cute!
My weekend was a good mixture of being productive at home (painting and planting), visiting with relatives (the husband’s), and finishing my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary invitations.
Smiling, Red-Headed, Bay-BEE!
We spent last week in Oregon. We had dinner at 1001 in Portland, saw Othello in Ashland, went for runs on the beach in Bandon (also, ate at Alloro which is one of the best restaurants ever), shopped for tchockes in Florence, watched the Olympic track & field trials in Eugene (now I know what 2% body fat looks like in person), bought 8 cases of wine in the wine country near McMinnville (OK, that was my husband, not me).
What, no swimsuit photo? Glad you’re back and blogging, though it looks like you had a fantabulous time. Your family looks like so much fun. I wish we lived close enough for playdates! My husband and JB could compare notes on stopping zombies.
I love your family! So cute and so fun!
I have to third (fourth?) the request for an itemized account of your workout schedule! As of last Saturday I’ve been Turbo Jamming (Punch, Kick, and Jam!), thanks to your bikini photos! I eBayed the Turbo Jam Cardio Party and Hip Hop Abs, and would be very grateful if you could let us in on your fitness routine! Thanks so much for MOTIVATING me!!! (I ate a salad for lunch! CRAZINESS!) You rock, Linda! :)
What awesome pics and cute kids!:)
Went over to the in-laws on the Olympic Peninsula, hung out on the beach, set crab traps, ate crab, lit off illegal fireworks along with everyone else, got a sunburn walking on the beach and generally lazed around.
Lets see.. made cupcakes, got burned, ate Mexican food.
We are prepping to go on vacation too. The un-packing is the absolute worst!
i had my first night away from my triplets! i slept until ELEVEN in the morning! it was awesome.
dylan is so cute. he has dimples like my boys. love that. and the pic of him in his jammies makes my teeth hurt. it’s too hot here to put my babies in jammies. booo!
and i love riley’s outfit by the pool. hee hee!
Beautiful pictures, as always, and oh, how I love the red hair. My daughter has red hair so I have a soft spot for little red-headed babies.
Great pictures! I spent the week moving to a new house and getting the husband off to Fort Benning for 6-weeks of training. We can comiserate together!
Welcome home! I empathize… we were gone for four days and I have a lot of catching up to do also.
Your family is adorable and you look terrific.
that dimple, my friend, will be the death of you :-)
beatiful photos, as usual
Damn, I went on a two month hiatus and suddenly Dylan has morphed into a KID!! Also, catch me up, is it still Turbo Jam? Because after that swimsuit pix, I’m TOTALLY going out and buying that dvd.
When people comment on the red hair tell them this:
Red hair appears in people with two copies of a recessive gene on chromosome 16 which causes a change in the MC1R protein.
Or you could tell them the mailman to keep them guessing.
Heh
