Sleep? what's sleep? lol I've been going a year with no sleep... I'm wondering when it's going to get better? Then I realize, we're dumb enough to be bringing a new baby into the mix Spring 2010 (if all goes as planned), and starting the whole thing all over again lol, I won't be sleeping for another 8-10 years.

Hoohah!! I DID do the sleep-away-for-a-few-nights-thing and it worked. My then hubby could sleep through a nuclear holocaust and I was so sleep deprived that I just walked around in a numb frozen eyeball way all day, so I put the baby to bed and went to my friend's house to sleep. After a few nights she slept thru and it was safe to return home...BLISSS!!!

I have a 10 month old who crawls all over the place and just started sleeping well. Don't want to jinx it by blogging about it, but I'm almost 1/2 sane now. We let him cry for short intervals and intervene when it gets too loud/can hear rattling of cage bars on crib. Usually he has thrown the binky out and needs it reinserted. Also, we use a musical fish that he likes to snuggle. Does Dylan have a favorite thing to snuggle that isn't you?
Another thread:
How do you get Dylan's PJ's to stay perfectly over his feet? Is it the lack of crawling? My little guy keeps getting one foot out during the forward pull and stuck into the crotch/other leg region on the extension. It looks a little painful/super annoying, but it slows his lightening fast crawl to one I can beat to the other end of the room.

I don't know about you, but we've been going through it with our 3.5 year old. He's been sleeping like a champ since around 1 but the last few weeks he's been waking up in the middle of the night and not wanting to go to sleep. Last weekend we were at the beach and I woke up at about 5am to see him standing silent at the foot of our bed. I'm sure he was freaked out b/c he was in a different place but it sure as hell scared me to death. I guess what I'm trying to say via rambling is that I've been there and I know it is small consolation but at least he isn't up and walking yet to add to the equation.

I love the pictures. They remind me of my little guy, who just found his knees at 10.5 months. The spa sounds excellent.

Ok so you HAVE to check into that hotel! Maybe just one night of it will cure your troubles? And since JB was just gone for his own little excursion...

I've seen it written here already, and I'm repeating it: Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child. At least read it and see what you think. Good luck!
