In my last entry, I praised the beautiful summer weather that had finally visited Seattle. Less than 24 hours later, thunderstorms swept in and it's been dark and rainy since.
I wrote about how the sciatica I experienced a while back seemed to have disappeared. The very next morning my left hip started to ache and I staggered around like a drunken pirate for hours until the flareup subsided.
Finally, I mentioned that I had been blissfully free of pregnancy-related leg cramps, and at 4 AM today I woke up with a sensation in my right calf that I can only describe as "excruciating agony, only worse somehow" as my leg seized up like a rock.
Mmmmm....hubris. Tastes like chicken.

The weight gain throughout a pregnancy is supposedly broken down by the baby's actual weight, energy stores like fat and protein, fluid volume, breast enlargement, uterus, amniotic fluid, and the placenta. However, I feel I have stumbled upon a formula that explains, more accurately, my own physical body changes thus far.
