Things I Like
The section over there in the right sidebar → is where I post info about things that I think are awesome. It’s just a random assortment of good stuff I’ve come across, no sponsored content. Some items may include an Amazon affiliate link, which you can always delete.
Previously Featured:

Melissa & Doug Bear Puzzle.
I can’t believe how often Dylan drags this out to play with it. Yeah, the pieces get all over, but totally worth it for the distraction.

Lessons of Evil, by Linda B. Myers. My aunt wrote this book, and it’s available on Nook and Kindle. I’m so thrilled for her, and I hope you read it and let her know what you think.

Rapidlash Serum. I don’t know how this works, and I probably don’t want to know how it works. But hey: it works! Someone even asked me recently if I’d had EYELASH EXTENSIONS.

The Passage, by Justin Cronin. Bit of a slog in the first third, but worth it for the post-apocalyptic stuff later on.

L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Lipstick.
Holy balls, this lipstick lasts forever and a day. I like the Almandine color.

Inconsolable, by Marrit Ingman.
I re-read this the other day and was re-amazed at how great it is.

The End of Overeating, by David Kessler.
Absolutely fascinating read, especially if you’ve ever struggled with food issues.

Dapper Snapper Belts.
I keep raving about these ingenious belts. If you have a skinny kid, YOU NEED THESE.

Amazing Cosmetics Concealer.
The only concealer that actually works on my unattractive dark eye-circles. I like the Golden Light color.

Melissa & Doug Sandwich Making Kit.
Why do my kids love this so much? I don’t know, but they do.

Freeing Your Child from Anxiety.
Full of great techniques for helping calm kids’ fears.

Elchim Hair Dryer.
Swear to Beezus, you need this dryer. Spendy but last I checked it was 41% off at Amazon.

The 4-Hour Body.
Gimmicky title, extremely fascinating read. Recommend for anyone interested in diet/fitness.

Leapfrog Talking Words Factory DVD.
Can’t say enough good things about these DVDs. This one’s great for kindergarten-aged kids.

Nantucket Cranberry Pie.
Pioneer Woman’s pie is both easy AND delicious. Perfect holiday recipe.

Merona Button Cardigan Sweater.
A Target find for maybe $20, this sweater is so incredibly soft and comfy and looks great. I want, like, 50 of them.

Terax Crema Conditioner.
Best conditioner I’ve ever used, ever, hands down, amen.

Polar Express DVD.
An absolutely wonderful holiday movie for ALL ages.

Cuisenaire wooden rods.
Neat well-made tool for helping kids understand math concepts.
