Hey folks. JB here. Just a quick update on operation STP:
Dylan Emmett was born at 12:44pm. 7lbs 8.5oz. Length and girth appear good. Male parts in working order.
Linda and baby are doing fine; she’ll update more later.

I suppose when you are all ready to have children, and the rabbit dies (where did that expression come from, anyway?), and you are all blissed out and radiant and glowing and people hold doors for you and beam at you because you are Earth Mother, you are performing this miracle - maybe then you don’t worry about puking, hemorrhoids, the texture and color of your hair changing, weird skin pigmentation, and of course the small matter of passing an entire human being through your..body.

Oh, hey Linda, I know this is six years late, but it refers to a question you had that someone else quoted: “when the rabbit dies” is a referral to early 1900s pregnancy tests. An ovary from a rabbit was injected with urine from a suspected-pregnant woman to see if any changes from pregnancy hormones developed. Unfortunately the bunny died in giving up its ovaries for the test. Try looking up “rabbit test” in wiki for more info.
