A friend sent me a link to this video, saying, “I thought you would love this.”
I do. Goddamn, do I ever. I think you might love it too.

Stuff I Like:
The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green
I almost didn't want to read this because I knew it was going to be weepy. So, so, so, so glad I did. It broke my heart and packed it full.
Benefit's They're Real! mascara
Totally updating my previous Blinc recommendation, because this mascara is the shit. Big crazylong lashes in one swoop. (Still: Blinc does go on better, and doesn't smear. It's just that Benefit's results are so much more dramatic.)
Broken Harbor, by Tana French
I've read all her books and I'm pretty sure this is my favorite. Haunting and fast-paced and all sorts of messed up.
Bix Sexy Hair
I don't know if I actually get BIG SEXY HAIR when I use this, but I do get a noticeable difference in volume and manageability. Great for adding some oomph to your roots.
BeneFit Stay Don't Stray
This is, I guess, a sort of primer for concealer, and it's aMAAAAzing. When I use it with my undereye concealer, I have zero creases and much better coverage. Also, this wee mini size lasts for-flipping-ever.
Tiny Beautiful Things, by Cheryl Strayed
Hands down the best thing I've read in a long, long, long time. Maybe years. Maybe ever.
Oribe Heat Styling Spray
Fantastic product that you use before you curl/flatiron for supershiny hold. I have no idea how it works, but it goes on really really sticky -- like almost waxy -- and then the heat tool makes your hair feel soft. (I curl, then finger-comb.)
Dead Inside: Do Not Enter
You know the addictive awesomeness of Found, and the haunting freakiness of thinking about a zombie apocalypse? Put those hands together, as Joey from Friends would say.

NICE.
Holy shit. *Chills*
You weren’t kidding.
Okay, that made me tear up. Yes, YES 100 TIMES.
And then I watched the video on they made on the teen brain and I wept for my 17 year old because, also, YES… HE IS AN ALIEN.
Loved that! And if you don’t mind, I’m sharing on Facebook because I have friends that need to watch that!
I’ve played it over and over many times since it came out. It’s great, even on subsequent viewings.
Thank you for sharing this.
Holy shit, I completely forgot about Ze Frank! I was addicted to his website about a decade ago. Thank you for this!
Thank you! This was exactly the right message at exactly the right moment! Let’s get this shit started!
Exactly! Right message at the right time. Thank you for that. I can be such a pencil sharpener at times.
*whispers* Thank you for this.
Loved it. Thanks for posting.
Going through some massive changes, and this is really something else. Thanks so much.
I could watch that over and over and over.
Gah. Thank you.
Also, am I the only one who wants to jump his damn bones?
I don’t get it.
Ooh, I love “Let me find and use metaphors to help me understand the world around me and give me the strength to get rid of them when they no longer work.”
I know a lot of people who forget the second part.
Wow! Thanks!
Fantastic. . . .only be satisfied by the cheese of accomplishment. . .
I just want to watch this over and over. My favorite part is the cheese monster. I love that overwhelming feeling of creativity – except when it comes when I can’t do anything to act on it.
