Oh, my god, you look fantastic!

  2. Ashleas on July 1st, 2008 9:46 pm

You adopted. YOU HAD TO. THAT STOMACH DID NOT HAVE TWO KIDS.

    *Ahem*

I’m going to go drown my sorrow in my pepsi. God I hate the taste, hate the aftertaste but I am addicted to soda.

  3. Trina on July 1st, 2008 10:23 pm

You look good girl!!! All of your hard work has paid off. I am insanely JEALOUS. Although I will never be able to wear a 2 piece again (due to the belly stretch marks from 2 kids) I would LOVE to get my ass into my size 6’s again.

  4. Victoria on July 1st, 2008 10:52 pm

    You look awesome!!!

  5. Susan on July 1st, 2008 10:53 pm

You look UNREAL. Amazing. I have had NO kids and will never, ever look like that in a bikini. I second the fact that you must have adopted. Except those kids look exactly like the two of you. How did you do it? Those photos make me unbelievably homesick for the Pacific Northwest. No place on earth like it. Me = jealous.

  6. Jem on July 1st, 2008 11:17 pm

aw, I love that photo - yay you!

  7. donna on July 2nd, 2008 12:33 am

“(Also, another swimsuit photo MY GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.)”

    Nothing. Obviously.
    And also, wow.
Oh, and the scenery is pretty too, lol.

  8. Emblita on July 2nd, 2008 12:54 am

Damn girly…. you are ripped! (I can’t believe I just wrote ripped)
And the pacific NW is so pretty

  9. dynamita on July 2nd, 2008 2:17 am

You look A-f%cking-mazing! Wow! Also, that place where you are: breathless.

  10. radjibel on July 2nd, 2008 2:56 am

Woahman! You look incredible, veryvery well done. And Dylan, he’s like almost not a baby anymore, didn’t you have him like yesterday?

  11. Eric's Mommy on July 2nd, 2008 4:00 am

Oh my god! Look at you! Holy crap!

Wonderful pictures, you ROCK that bikini!

  12. stephanie brown on July 2nd, 2008 4:49 am

What on earth would I do without your blog? You are responsible for one of my 20 smiles per day, thanks! :)

  13. Christine on July 2nd, 2008 5:17 am

I was grudingly on my way to the gym and, after seeing your bikini pic, am HAPPILY on my way to the gym. Thanks for the motivation - I needed it today (took the 4yo to see WALL-E last night and can I just say: LOVE! Also, popcorn = mmmmmmmmmmm!)

You. Look. AMAZING. Seriously, you are smokin’ hot and you should be running around in a two-piece all the time. Just because you can.

  14. Christine on July 2nd, 2008 5:20 am

Also! I forgot to say that I LOVE your hair! Especially in the first pic. It just looks so pretty. Mine is curly/wavy and I could never pull off that style without an hour of blowdrying/flat ironing/product overload/tears of frustration…

  15. Kaire on July 2nd, 2008 5:23 am

If I didn’t like you so much, I’d hate you for the bikini pictures ;) Thanks for showing that hard work pays off!

  16. Sabine on July 2nd, 2008 5:26 am

Wow, you look fantastic! I’ve been working my butt off (literally) the last six months, but I can’t seem to get as good of results in the arm definition department. I mean, your biceps and triceps are awesome. Is most of your arm work in kickboxing (Tae Bo, etc)? In any case, you’ve inspired me to break out the Tae Bo videos to take it to the next level!

  17. Maria on July 2nd, 2008 5:53 am

BIKINIS? EYE-BLEEDING AMOUNTS OF CUTE? MOOSE?

Girl, your blog has it all. I’m impressed.

  18. Amanda on July 2nd, 2008 6:08 am

You don’t bore us, we love you.

  19. eve on July 2nd, 2008 6:08 am

You look amazing and you’ve just about convinced me to leave the east coast for the PNW. Well, except for those dinner-plate-size spiders you’ve written about.

  20. Niki P. on July 2nd, 2008 6:29 am

OK, I was going to have a donut. Was. I will get in shape I will get in shape I will get in shape.

Beautiful, amazing, awesome and the scenery is good too! Congrats on all your hard work.

  21. Janssen on July 2nd, 2008 6:40 am

Wow, you look fantastic. I especially noticed how toned your legs look in that first picture.

  22. Alex on July 2nd, 2008 6:45 am

That first picture is my favorite. I feel like JB should have that one his desk or something.

And holy hell does Dylan get cuter and cuter every single entry. Not that he wasn’t cute to begin with, of course.

    Enjoy your vacation!

  23. Diane on July 2nd, 2008 6:48 am

Wow…so obviously the stork brought your children. Looking Good!
Nothing boring about this entry…love the pictures!

  24. parkingathome on July 2nd, 2008 7:02 am

Oh my god, when did your infant become a baby? That was FAST.

  25. Clueless But Hopeful Mama on July 2nd, 2008 7:03 am

I’m with Janssen, I totally noticed how toned your legs looked in the first picture. See? Even without bikini shots, we can tell you’ve been workin’.

Dude, I’m a Pilates instructor with only 1 kid and you put me to shame in a bikini.

  26. ali on July 2nd, 2008 7:20 am

holy hotness in that bikini, woman!

  27. kristylynne on July 2nd, 2008 7:23 am

Good grief, you have abs. You do realize that people who just had babies are not supposed to have those, right? You are my hero.

  28. She Likes Purple on July 2nd, 2008 8:14 am

You are totally my body inspiration. Not in a creepy way, of course.

  29. Matt on July 2nd, 2008 8:16 am

Wow, gorgeous pictures. Also, when did Dylan make this sudden transformation from infant to toddler? Did it happen last night? Are you feeding your kids growth hormones..:-P

  30. Sarah on July 2nd, 2008 8:20 am

Awesome pics!! And you look amazing in that shot!! I’m so jealous!! *G*

  31. Sarah on July 2nd, 2008 8:27 am

Jebus, lady, you’re positively RIPPED! That’s an incredible 5-month post-baby bod! Has US Weekly called you yet for a cover story on your postpartum weightloss secrets and how we, the lowlies of the world, can be Just Like The Stars? ‘Cuz they should!

  32. Tessie on July 2nd, 2008 8:30 am

Oh, dude. You look HOT. Right ON, man!

  33. Jenna on July 2nd, 2008 8:36 am

Girl. I don’t care what you say about how you look in your bathing suit. You look hot, and I never say that to other women, and should be showing that off. And looking like that after having two kids? Your hard work has paid off, I have to say.

    Also, lovely pics…

  34. Julie on July 2nd, 2008 8:53 am

You look great! And the pictures aren’t boring…that scenery is beautiful. Plus, pictures aren’t near as bad as having to suffer through home videos of vacation! :)

  35. superblondgirl on July 2nd, 2008 8:53 am

    A) you look FABULOUS, seriously, suddenly I feel like my exercise/eating thing isn’t all for naught if it’s done that for you
    b) that child sitting next to Riley in JB’s lap can’t be Dylan. He’s too big and grown-up. And I love that he’s still redheaded!

  36. Mary O on July 2nd, 2008 8:56 am

That’s it. I’m ordering Turbo Jam right this minute!

  37. All Adither on July 2nd, 2008 8:59 am

Are you sucking it in at all? Even just a little bit?

  38. babs on July 2nd, 2008 9:00 am

wow, no wonder JB wanted you to upgrade your swimsuit… you look awesome! I’m also loving your hair AND how happy you look in the first picture.

  39. Ashley on July 2nd, 2008 9:18 am

Linda you look absolutely fantastic, such an inspiration. I love how happy you look in that first shot too.

  40. justmouse on July 2nd, 2008 9:24 am

first, you are not boring the living shit out of anyone. you take beautiful pictures and we love to see them.

second, there is obviously nothing WRONG with you! you have worked damn hard, and you look fantastic! you’re allowed to be proud of that, yanno.

    keep it up. :D

  41. Tara on July 2nd, 2008 9:25 am

As everyone has already said, but it can’t hurt to say it again–you look f*cking amazing. All that hard work has clearly paid off!! Congrats, and enjoy it!!

Also. . . LOVE the pics, both of the beautiful scenery & the kids (holy cow, Dylan looks so much older when he’s sitting up!!). I, too, want to come check out the PNW, because it looks way awesomer than my East Coast home. *sigh*

  42. samantha jo campen on July 2nd, 2008 9:27 am

You look so happy and peaceful in the first shot. Man. Vacations really do wonders don’t they?

And yes. Turbo Jam. Overnight ship. Now.

  43. Heather on July 2nd, 2008 9:41 am

How do you have the time to workout? You look awesome!

  44. Kate on July 2nd, 2008 9:52 am

Ok, first I have to correct Maria: not Moose - ELK. Whew. There I feel better.

Second, I agree that the first picture of you is just lovely. You look so happy and content. Definitely frameable. I wish I had one like that of ME.

Yes, yes, JB was right to suggest an upgrade on the swimsuit. You’ve obviously worked hard and it shows. You look awesome. I’ll just sit here, quietly drowning in my jealousy.

Seriously, can you be my personal trainer? I don’t live too far from you. :)

  45. oregoncoastgirl on July 2nd, 2008 11:39 am

Elkcellent photos. You’re making me miss home.

  46. Suki on July 2nd, 2008 11:46 am

Man, it’s so pretty in your corner of the world. And your bikini bod is incredible, keep it up sister!! You inspired me to order Turbo Jam, and though I often want to kill that perky Chalene, it’s a great work out. Have a good week.

  47. Chris on July 2nd, 2008 11:58 am

god it is beautiful there. you look great, the boys, as always are darling, and did JB shave?

  48. Dawn on July 2nd, 2008 12:18 pm

Holy cow. When did Dylan move from sweet little lump to full-fledged adorable baby? And he looks so much like Riley (and JB) now.

  49. annie on July 2nd, 2008 12:56 pm

The pix are amazing. I am so in awe of your amazing post-babe abs. But hey, is that a “no trespassing” sign just behind you? The willpower to sculpt that rockin’ bod and a disregard for the man - another reason to love your updates!

  50. Nancy on July 2nd, 2008 1:38 pm

I kind of hate you. ;-)

You look absolutely FABULOUS — congrats on having all that hard work pay off in a big way! Love all the pictures of you, the fam and the scenery!

  51. Lesley on July 2nd, 2008 1:39 pm

U R MOVIE STAR! You look fucking phenomenal and you should be very proud of your accomplishment because this is beyond mere fitness. It’s um Greek God-like.

I see you doing triathlons soon.

Dylan looks like he’s about to jump out of his diapers. Seriously, the kids look like they are beside themselves with happiness on vacation. As does JB. Glad you’re having a good time and good weather.

  52. Holly on July 2nd, 2008 2:19 pm

hair looks especially great in the first photo!

  53. mixette on July 2nd, 2008 3:58 pm

The photos of you look like pages from the Athleta catalog!

  54. Shamelessly Sassy on July 2nd, 2008 4:21 pm

hey, if i looked that awesome in a bikini, i’d be postin’ bikini shots too. you look fabulous. :)

  55. Maria on July 2nd, 2008 4:33 pm

What absolutely gorgeous pictures! You look simply serene. I’m jealous on all kinds of levels and am now desperate for a vacation!

  56. andi on July 2nd, 2008 6:58 pm

After I saw the first shot of you in the bikini, I wanted so badly to hate you. But I have a hard time hating awesome people. You should celebrate all your hard work to get that body - hell, if I looked like that I might post pics of it too. Of course, me sitting on my ass and eating chocolates is getting me no closer to that reality…

  57. Erin on July 2nd, 2008 7:53 pm

    Hi Linda!

I just wanted to pop in and say thank you! I don’t know what it was, but something about reading your posts about trying to lose weight and get back into shape totally motivated me to start getting back into shape - and I wanted to thank you!! In the most non-creepy way - you look really great and its totally motivating me to keep going. I’ve forgotten about my ‘goal weight’ and have started focusing on working out to feel good and feel stronger and now I just all over feel better (and I fit into my old pants again - which is just a super bonus).

So, thank you for being the inspiration you didn’t know you are! I hope you’re having a great vacation - thanks for sharing!

  58. sooboo on July 2nd, 2008 8:48 pm

Dang! That is one ripply stomach. I’m getting that Turbo Jam too, even if it might kill me. Great pictures. Your boys are so cute. What a beautiful place.

  59. Taryn on July 3rd, 2008 12:04 am

You look fantastic, Linda! And your sons are so adorable. I hope you’re all having a fun vacation (despite having two rather young kids in tow?). Really though, that first picture especially is very pretty. Congratulations that all your hard work has paid off! :)

  60. Lindy on July 3rd, 2008 12:56 am

WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU???? Not a goddamn thing! You look fanfuckingtabulous!! I’d be shaking my money-maker in a bikini if I worked as hard as you have and looked that good.

  61. Kathie on July 3rd, 2008 1:55 am

WRONG WITH YOU? WRONG with you? God lord, have you looked in a mirror lately? If I had your figure, I’d never take my bikini off!! Buying groceries in bikini? Check! Off to the playground in bikini? Check! Oh, I have to take the car in for a service today? Think I’ll wear my bikini…
Congratulations and glad you’re having a good holiday!

  62. courtney on July 3rd, 2008 4:28 am

Who stole your baby and replaced him with a little man?!?!

    So cute.

  63. amber on July 3rd, 2008 8:57 am

In that last photo, Dylan looks SO BIG. He’s growing so fast, and getting cuter all the damn time. Lucky you!

  64. Bethiclaus on July 3rd, 2008 9:03 am

Oh my God! You look fantastic. I generally hate skinny bitches, but you make me laugh, so I’m willing to forgive this character flaw.

  65. Jules on July 3rd, 2008 11:06 am

Dear sweet lord, do you look great. Can we all pause for a moment and observe in the bikini picture where your quadriceps are freaking awesome?

  66. Lori on July 3rd, 2008 12:01 pm

God, you suck. I hate you. Tell me how you did that. SHOW ME THE WAY.

  67. Danielle-Lee on July 3rd, 2008 12:02 pm

You look wonderful! Your hard work has paid off, let me tell you. You should not be embarrassed of being in a bikini at all!
    Love the other pictures too!

  68. ML on July 3rd, 2008 1:12 pm

Thank you for being so public about your weightloss - I’m down about 65lbs (five years after my last was born) and am well on my way to the last 20 coming off. It’s been a long slog (well, actually only 15 months of concerted weightloss focus but a depression slog thrown in there, too) but you have countless times reminded me it’s do-able. That really is so helpful. Thank you!

  69. K on July 3rd, 2008 2:35 pm

You look so great! I love your hair, too!!!

  70. breckgirl on July 3rd, 2008 3:35 pm

Love your hair in the first pic. You look great and of course, the elk are totally hot, as well. Have a great 4th!

  71. Dinner at the One Parent Household - Single Mom at Work - Work It, Mom! on July 4th, 2008 8:59 am

[…] I stood in the mirror and realized the potential strength of my body, where it could be. I want to lose 5 pounds of weight (not a lot) but firm like crazy and go down a dress size or two. Linda is my inspiration, after giving birth for the second time just four months ago, she worked out like crazy and looks like seven million dollars. I know, as a single Mom, it’s less feasible for me to jaunt for the gym, but that’s what home workout DVDs and noon hour runs are for. […]

  72. Anonymous on July 4th, 2008 1:58 pm

You look fantastic!!! and definitely this one and not a skirt. Why would you wear a skirt swim suit?? You’ve got nothing to hide.. and from what I understand - it’s a huge fashion faux pas (unless you’re over 60).

  73. Sara on July 5th, 2008 8:26 am

You so did not have two kids!!!! You look amazing.

  74. Gentry (formerly of San Francisco) on July 6th, 2008 6:07 am

I would be scared if I met you in dark alley. (If you were wearing a muscle-bearing outfit like the bikini o’ doom and stood in that pose).

I would however, like a bunch of those beautiful pheasant feathers. Please pluck some for me.

    Thank you,
    The Management
