If you are running your site from a commercial hosting company, you should be fine. There are two main things to care about: peak load and bandwidth. Peak load from a 6 MB file is unlikely to be high enough for a commercial host to even notice. If the monthly bandwidth on your account it’s reasonably high – my host gives me 200 GB of transfer per month – then you shouldn’t need to worry. Even if your allowance were only half that, you would still have enough bandwidth for the file to be downloaded 17,000 times per month.

If you are hosting your site at home, then it might be a slightly different story. You can always put it up and see what happens. If things go blooey you can just pull the file.

Re: Mp3s, I don’t know. I do know that Paige (www.flux-rad.com) does it with a fair amount of regularity, but that might be because she has a huge hosting account that houses Swoon, I don’t know. I do know that she’s very responsive to email and is a doll in general.

That’s funny! Now I don’t feel so bad about posting a comparison of my daughter’s photo with Nick Nolte’s mug shot.

Chaos was brought down upon the family by both Riley and Johnny… So is Johnny in the running for the name for number two? Or would that be too creepy?

Dog sitting the cute golden retriever Murphy (house also has hot tub! yay!) I love this dog and he is delight to take care of! So, probably to the dog park if it is sunny, because the dog park is so dang entertaining. Funny little dogs everywhere.

Not sure what Saturday holds, but the options are exciting. Probably some brunch, with friends

And Super Bowl watching on Sunday at a friends with some yummy food. The rather non-athletic crowd of boys will be playing touch football before hand, which I may skip since I don’t trust their cordination skills. And I don’t want to mess the knee up again after just now getting back in to the fitness swing of things. (knee surgery to replace ACL and fix my meniscus wasn’t bad, it was the 2 months of being on crutches and not being able to do anything by myself that sucked!)

Saturday Jr and I will be Scouting for Food for Cub Scouts. Sunday I teach sunday school, than later that night Children’s Choir. In between? Lots of nothing, hopefully.
