Well, I was not necessarily expecting THIS this morning:
Now the question is less “will my blood pressure reading allow me to gestate for another week and therefore have that mani/pedi appointment I so richly deserve?” than “will I be T-boned on the way to the doctor’s office by an out-of-control Bellevue driver?”. And of course my OB is only in on Mondays.
Hmmph.
Oh well, it sure is pretty. Riley approves, anyway.
Good luck, Linda. You’re inspiring me as I enter the 2nd half of my pregnancy with my first boy. Eek!

And, drive safely.
Damn snow. Damn lame drivers. I already got rear ended this season- luckily no harm done. Scared the boys thuogh. All stupid ass drivers stay their distance, be safe!
I hope you get to that mani/pedi. Stay put little D! I am super excited for you Linda.
When my second was born (now 7 months?!) I had forgotten all the funny little noises and weird breathing of a newborn (you know, the ones that keep you awake with wide, freaking eyes because omg is he OK??)
I’ll be thinking aboutcha!
Whoop it up, Riley!
We had over 30 inches in December & more is on the way this week. My toddler loves the snow, but it’s so cold & the poor kid is so bundled, that he can barely move. Makes him easier to catch as he merrily jogs into the street.
Good luck!
Good luck! I’m sure we’re all on pins and needles waiting to hear what happens (I know I am).
That view is pretty much constant outside my window these days, and even the drivers here don’t deal with it very well.
A beautiful view, but a pain in the ass, especially here in Seattle where no one knows how to drive in it.
Eagerly awaiting the results of todays appointment. I am certainly hoping you have time for the mani/pedi and all the other tasks you still need to get done this week.
AW MAN! I miss the snow so much! Gorgeous!
I thought of you this morning when I saw the snow. Please, please be careful driving around. My Hubby says that it isn’t too bad out…….but you need to take care of yourself and smalltopus. But….ooh, for a nice mani-pedi……I might just risk it. Sometime go to Gene Juarez for a reflexology massage. I had one when I was given a free service. Oh Lordy……totally worth it!
HA HA… When I read the header, I thought it said “Inconvenient Perspiration” and thought we’d see pics of your shirts’ armpits all yellowed up.
You should see me FLIPPING OUT at a new post from you. OMG DID SHE HAVE THE BABY OMG OMG!!!
I remember when I was a kid in Eugene how wonderful and unexpected snow was (of course my parents didn’t agree). We had a filbert orchard out behind our house and it always looked like a post card when it snowed. And of course school was canceled for anything more than a quarter inch.
My dad tells me they got a good 3 inches yesterday, which is insane for the Willamate Valley, and that they’re expected to get another 5 today!
Good luck with the driving… just be really careful!
I live in New England and we get a lot of snow, and still when we get the very first snow of the season people freak out and forget how to drive in the stuff!
Drive safely! Or, better yet, treat yourself to chocolate after you get home.
I thought for sure the weather report would have been incorrect YET AGAIN for our area. As soon as my alarm went off, I flipped on the TV to Q13 just in time to see that my kiddo’s school day had been cancelled. There was ONE inch of snow on the ground!! Now it’s alternately snowing/sunny. It’s pretty, but I’ve got a stir crazy kid here and ARGH!
oooh, so pretty! be careful, although I have to second another poster that it might be worth it for a good mani/pedi.
Ohhhhh, don’t ya’ just love the white stuff! Turns people into idiots on the roads!
So excited for you! Hope you don’t get the “Go to directly to L&D” pronouncement at the appointment (I did not enjoy that either). Having 2 small boys myself, I’m done having offspring, but remember the final days of only 1 monkey in my life. It was tough on the oldest for a few weeks after the new addition came home, but now they are best friends. Or the kind of best friends that occassionally, maybe enjoy beating the heck out of each other with Little People and Thomas the Train toys!
You are going to love having two boys! Maybe I’m just biased, but I love it!
Oh yeah, we’re so not enjoying the storm you just sent this way to Idaho! Ground blizzards, wind up the ying-yang, colder than s**t, gaaahhhh!
Looks like you got as much as I did up in Shoreline. Also, expect more of the same tonight! Sigh.
At least you got white stuff. We just had more rain… And in California, whenever it rains, folks stow their common sense when they get out their umbrellas. It’s like the law or something. Sending good wishes for a safe easy delivery and a happy healthy baby.
I think our babies will have the same birthday. I’m having a girl. She might be STP’s future wife. Awwwwwwwww! ;)
I miss snow. I grew up in VA, now living in TX. We don’t get any fun weather. If it’s the least bit misting outside, Texans act like straight fools. I think they believe precipitation is Jesus tears.
You know, I actually thought of you when they said they had enough snow in the Seattle area to close schools. Looking at your pictures has me giggling, however. Darlin’, that ain’t snow. That’s a dusting.
Lucky lucky! We keep getting missed by da snow.

So because Rodriguez is in a bad bunsiess they don’t want to accept his generous donation. What a bunch of dumbasses. Hell if they do give it back, he can donate it to me.1. I need the money.B. I don’t think strip club owners are bad people. Hell, I love strip club owners for opening strip clubs.
