Forgive me for yet another progressive series of photos depicting my youngest child in the midst of some charming-only-to-me milestone, and rest assured it is highly unlikely I will ever foist a bunch of goopy foodface images on you again, but I can’t help myself, this cracks me up. Behold, Dylan is introduced to a small amount of rice cereal and pears:

So cute! But how can Dylan be eating rice cereal? He was just BORN YESTERDAY! Right?

My kids still do those faces when I feed them dinner… and they’re 5, 3 & 2.

Very cute.

Awesome! How many pictures did you take while feeding him to get those faces or were you just super lucky? I can never fully capture the moment like that.

OK Linda. You win for the CUTEST BABY EVER.

Just don’t tell my kids, mmmkay?

Delurking to say keep those milestone pix coming! This is adorable, and I have to say I absolutely LOVED the rolling over sequence. I have a 10-week-old and these make me look forward to his milestones even more.

Take a long look at picture 3. You can see your youngest son as a teenager.

Oh that’s brilliant! Could see the whole thought process and taste explosions… too cute!

Clueless but Hopeful Mama

Love the pics. Keep them coming! These completely brought back those first couple feedings of solid food. Zoe would make the strangest faces like this just was all too freaky.

HAHAHA! It’s like pictures really are worth a thousand words, only these words would be covered with cereal.

Keep on foisting those photos. Sometimes they make-a me laugh, sometimes they make-a me cry.* Today I laughed so hard I think I broke something.

If you ever tasted the Rice Cereal you would understand the face. I would put a couple of drops of pancake syrup in the cereal, something about a spoonful of suger make the medicine go down.

Love the “you’ve got to be kidding me” look on his face in almost half of them. No need for sign language or verbal skills to pick up on what he’s saying!

Love these pics! It’s so funny how all food has such an intense taste for babies at first. Reminds me of my daughter eating bananas for the first time. Like she had just sucked on a lemon or something! LOL :)

Too cute! Love the pictures, especially rolling over and “little gorilla” sitting up. I told my husband I wanted to special order kids as cute as yours.

So cute. Let me ask you – is he embracing cereal after the first few times? My baby (same age) could not care ANY LESS. I keep offering it, and she keeps spitting it out. Guess I’ll just keep trying…

Ohmyholyhell……..HE IS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! I love the photo series that you do. It’s almost like being there. And there is nothing more fun than those first-taste faces kids make. except maybe the look when they go under water and weren’t quite expecting it!

The look on Dylan’s face in that third picture is similar to the one my husband makes when I cook something healthy for supper. Dylan is MUCH cuter.

OK – if we want to make a competition out of it – I think this little fella might have been in worse trauma than Dylan.
