This weekend was a perfect watermelon-slice of summer in every way, from the visits to the pool:
. . . to the sunscreen-styled hair . . .
. . . and the Seafair Blue Angels air show, enjoyed by the parents while the noise-sensitive children were safely ensconced at home with a babysitter.
If you’re going to turn a year older, this was exactly the right sort of day for it—lucky for JB.
Happy birthday, mate. You, and everything else in our lives, just keep getting better.

We took our daughter to an air show when she was 2 because she loved planes. Yeah, turns out she loves planes as long as they make NO noise.
