Ok so it’s really cute, but all I can really think of right now is that I’d like waffles now.

@redbecca—it’s good to know that there are other boys out there who are not as vocal as dylan. my kid is 3 months older and is not this chatty. (he’s also in speech therapy).

I love this post, but it also makes me sad. My son turned two in February and still isn’t talking yet. (Yes, he’s starting speech therapy soon.) I can’t wait to hear what he has to say!

It doesn’t stop, it just becomes long, drawn our stories about his day, that sometimes don’t make sense.

I can’t wait to see Dylan’s byline in the New York Times.

HA. This is so cute. He is some kinna chattery, dude. I think that’s supposed to be particularly awesome for boy and second kids. Though I think it just sounds awesome in general.

Not on subject, but…. You have inspired me. I signed uo for a 5K. I have never done anything like this in my life! Thanks for all that you post. I love it.

Am I crazy because I can’t wait to get to this stage? Little Man is talking, but not very many words yet and I can’t wait until I can converse with him like a real human being (sort of).

What is the internet for if not unsolicited advice – giving: Since visions of portapotties dance in your head nervously in anticipation of a long race, have you toyed with the idea of a little prophylactic immodium?

I’m not recommending it, since I’ve never tried it, but I wonder if other runners have tried it. There must be an old Runner’s World article or blog post on this topic out there somewhere.

Oh, I loved this! My son is exactly Dylan’s age but somewhat speech delayed– it’s always fun to read things like this or hang out with other 26-ish monthers to figure out what might be going on in his head. Dylan is adorable!

I’ve read this entry, like, 5 times. I know it’s more of a dictation than anything, but I love it. I’m pregnant with my first, a boy, and I can’t wait to hear what his nonstop chatter is going to be.
