It wouldn’t be Mother’s Day without my annual attempt at a keepsake photo, and I’m pleased to announce that this year’s results were as stunning as ever. So many treasured images to choose from, it’s nearly impossible to know which one I should have framed. This made me laugh out loud. Also, while I was busy reading and laughing out loud, my toddler ate about a quarter of a crayon wrapper. I win at motherhood.

We bribe the boys with candy then the person taking the photos tells knock knock and fart jokes. I may be LAME but I look up new jokes ahead of time to get the boys to laugh.
Totally worth the lameness as this year they are actually both looking at the camera with semi-smiles on their faces!

In the second one, Dylan looks like Casper the friendly ghost. It’s like a screwed up angel/demon on your shoulders – Jack Nicholson eyebrows on one side, Casper on the other.
That’s the beauty of Photoshop. Pick the best elements and paste those bastards together!

Between the actual photos and the captions I am fucking DYING at my desk, doing that delightful laugh-cry-stifle thing. These are way more awesome than any “perfect” photo where everyone is looking in the same direction smiling.
