Thanks for the blog-fodder!
1. Something you did this year that you’ve never done? - Bought a house.
2. I don’t really make resolutions, but it was a goal to buy a house in 07. I definitely have goals for 08 (that sound really, really pretentious… I’m not I swear)
3. Did anyone give birth? - no
4. Did anyone die? - no, thank goodness
5. Canada… that’s a bit lame. I didn’t even get far into Canada.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? - More diligent saving. Healthy body. A baby in my belly. The ushe.
7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? April 28 - see number one. Buying a house was so exciting for us.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? - Broken record here, Buying a house.
9. What was your biggest failure? - I’m perfect, I don’t fail. No, probably not being diligent enough about saving. There is no excuse for our not being better about this. Also, I gained back almost all of the weight I lost in 2006. That sucked.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? - nope
11. What was the best thing you bought? - house
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? - My dad retired from a large corporation. That was exciting.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? - my ridiculous former co-worker
14. Where did most of your money go? - Mortgage, crap, lunches
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? - my new house. This is becoming redundant. Too much new house mentions.
16. What song will always remind you of 2007? -Gimme More by Britney Spears. And that makes me feel ashamed.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?

What a great list of questions. Happy New Year.
[…] Not that 2007 was bad; Quite the opposite, actually. It was a year of much-needed discovery, of gaining precious self-respect. I took a long while to think about it. And I did a meme from one of my favourite bloggers – many of my answers are a little boring, if you ask me, so I’m just posting a sample: […]

And … is a meme ever really “stolen?” I mean, the whole purpose is like those chain emails that get sent out. What’s the last thing you ate? What’s your favorite color? Who is least likely to respond to this email? (hint: that would be ME.) […]
